MakerLab is a research institute focused on computational thinking, robotics, and future technology. They needed a new brand identity and digital presence that would be visually attractive to students of all ages; a design and brand tonality in line with their future-focused approach to STEM education and research.

Working closely with the management team, we developed a lively visual identity, including a flexible visual system and custom fonts, created a brand persona, tagline and tonality guidelines to help with written and verbal communication, as well as a series of coded animations that perfectly capture MakerLab’s core values of innovation via experimentation. The result is an energetic and engaging brand package that positions MakerLab as a leader in tech education to inspire the next generation of problem solvers and creators.
